On Monday, July 6th, Chef Emily will be serving ‘natural’ Angus Beef at our restaurant, including steaks and burgers.  Frank Pershing has delivered  beef raised in Monroe County that is grass fed with supplemental feed provided by our brewery.  What supplemental feed? Frank has been using ‘spent’ grain that we use in our brewing process to make the Big Woods beer you like so well. The spent grain is an an excellent supplemental feed for beef cattle…and its a great way for us to re-cycle this brewing by-product. We’d like for you to come in on Monday, taste the beef and tell us what you think.  We’ll also ask your opinion on what beer style goes best with this Hoosier grown natural beef.  Come in on Monday and give it a try!
